How ATD SOLAR uses and protects your information.
Who are we?
ATD SOLAR SARL, a solar installer in Nouakchott (Mauritania), is responsible for the information collected on this website, in the client area, on the ISS platform and on its WhatsApp numbers.
What information?
Your name, phone, e-mail if you give it, order number, the address or location of your system, your solar plant operating data (production, battery, grid, alerts), your study or service requests with their photos, and the messages you send us (forms, WhatsApp).
Why?
To study your project, install and maintain your system, monitor your plant remotely, handle your service requests, keep you informed of your work progress and system alerts, and send you our news if you subscribed to the newsletter. We never sell your information.
WhatsApp messages
We send you WhatsApp messages (work progress, plant alerts, request follow-up) only if you agreed to it. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them. These messages go through Meta's WhatsApp Business platform, which processes them under its own privacy policy. Replies may be prepared by an automated assistant; an ATD SOLAR team member can always take over.
Mobile apps
The “ATD SOLAR” (clients) and “ISS ATD Solar” (staff) apps show the client area and the ISS platform. If you turn on notifications, a technical identifier of your phone is stored to send you your alerts; it is deleted when you turn them off or log out. The app uses your location or camera only when you ask (clock-in, address, photo for a service request), with your phone’s permission. No advertising, no tracking.
With whom?
Your information stays with ATD SOLAR. It is only shared with the services needed to operate: our host (Hostinger), our management software (Odoo), the inverter monitoring platform (Growatt) WhatsApp Business (Meta) for messages, and Google (Firebase) and Apple for app notifications. They may not use it for anything else.
How long?
As long as you are a client and for the duration of your warranties, then for the time required by our accounting and legal obligations. Client area login attempts are deleted after 7 days.
Security
HTTPS website, access limited to authorised staff, client area codes stored encrypted, limited number of attempts. The website only uses the cookies it needs to work (language, login), with no advertising or tracking.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
Exception to the cookie rule above: to improve the public website, we measure visits with Google Analytics (pages viewed, country, device type), using cookies. It is never used in the logged-in client area or in the app. You can decline with the “Decline” button at the bottom of the site.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop receiving our messages. Contact us: contact@atdsolar.mr or +222 49 59 14 14 (phone and WhatsApp). To delete your client account: “Delete my account” page (Delete my account). We reply within one month at most.
